Postdoctoral Fellow

Hubbs Lab · Translational Neuroscience Center · Boston Children's Hospital

A Postdoctoral Fellow position with a flexible start date is available in the research lab of Dr. Jed Hubbs at Boston Children's Hospital. We are seeking an independent, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated scientist to join our team to drive drug discovery projects for rare neurodevelopmental disorders. This role is ideal for a researcher who thrives at the interface of chemistry and biology, using human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived neurons to screen for and validate novel therapeutics. The fellow will work in a highly multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with the Medicinal Chemistry Core and the Human Neuron Core to translate basic science into clinical candidates.

The mission of the Hubbs Lab is to accelerate the discovery of treatments for severe pediatric neurological conditions by combining the rigor of academic research with the operational efficiency of a biotech startup. Situated within the world-class Harvard ecosystem, our lab operates with a translational focus, utilizing cutting-edge technology to identify small molecule interventions. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced team and will be expected to not only execute bench science but also function as a project leader, managing external resources and collaborating with diverse experts.
